FAQs

Is this a toy? We have designed our products primarily as educational models, intended for both adults and children. It can be used as a model or as a toy. It is up to the customer. But we strongly advise that parents supervise children when they are interacting with the model sets. Note, as a general disclaimer: "Choking hazard - small parts can break off. Not intended for children under 5 years". Please keep away from pets.

How does the submersible Titanic ship work? There is a switch located on the deck. If you push it forward to the "Sink" mode and place it in water, the ship will slowly begin to fill with water through the hole in the starboard hull. The bow begins to sink, and then the ship breaks in half, much like the ill-fated original Titanic ship. Then you simply recover the two halves, empty all of the water, and put them back together.

How fast will it ship? Very fast! We ship 100% with USPS Priority Mail, and most orders ship out the same day or next (unless the next day is Sunday or a federal holiday).

Do you have helpful tips for the products you sell? Yes, we include helpful tips along with several "extras" for you in every box!

What material is used to make the models? Great question. The models are made using a non-toxic, eco-friendly type of "plastic", which is made from starchy plants! Pretty cool, huh?

Will you ship outside the US? Not directly, but international customers can read our shipping information at the top of the page. There are still affordable options for international customers!

Could you offer a cheaper price? Our models are very unique, and there are no other models like it in production. We offer very rare products that we design, engineer, and produce right here in North Carolina. This involves a lot of costs - from research and design to highly-technical engineering, testing, man hours to make, etc. The latest edition model set has taken our highly-specialized team over a year and a half to design, engineer, make improvements, etc. You'll be glad to know that our products are not made in a factory overseas. They are extremely unique and rare. With care, they can last a very long time.

Is there a way to make the ship sink more slowly? First, it's important to empty as much water out of the ship halves before sinking again. Any water remaining in the ship when it is put back together speeds up the sinking process. You can actually set the thumb switch to around the halfway position (sometimes even a bit farther back ), and the ship will sink a little slower, as it takes a little longer for the water to get in.

Do you plan to offer more editions in the future? We have some ideas for upcoming editions, and these may be available later this year. Stay tuned!

Titanic Crazy

My Grandson is Titanic crazy and seeing this replica that sinks wouldn't stop talking about it. I ordered the gift on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. It looks amazing and will be the highlight of his Christmas gifts. Well worth the money. I'm sorry for his parents who are going to have to fill the tub and lose him for hours while he sinks the model time and time again on Christmas day 😱.

Bought for nephew's 6th birthday and he loves it. He has been talking about the Titanic for weeks after going to a museum. He would play with a set of ship salt and pepper shakers and reimagine as the Titanic. Imagine getting a 16" ship replica that actually sinks and breaks apart during his playtime. He was ecstatic when he saw it and loves floating and sinking the ship. Iceberg is a great bonus!
